NewLaw Collect Innovation in Legal Services Award
Cardiff’s NewLaw team scooped the Innovation in Legal Services award for their innovative Pilot personal injury portal at the annual Wales Legal Awards Ceremony.
The prestigious event saw NewLaw’s Pilot system – designed to ensure claimants with lower value road traffic accident (RTA) injury claims can access justice – catch the judges imagination and pick up this award. The portal, puts claimants in control of their own personal injury claim, signposting them through the claims process, with the confidence that specialist legal support is on hand throughout.
The NewLaw team were also shortlisted for the Private Client of the Year award for their exceptional Private Client team. Although not successful on the night, it was a tribute to this team’s outstanding service and hard work at such a difficult time.

The Pilot portal was launched in May 2021 for NewLaw’s own claimants, but its flexibility also means the solution can be provided on a white label basis to other legal services providers – with some already active.
