Training centres
Investing in our automotive repair and maintenance technical training facilities ensures we remain at the forefront of advancing automotive technology.
In the UK, we operate two technical training centres located in Milton Keynes and Goole. Both centres are approved by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) and are capable of designing, developing, and delivering accredited IMI technical training for our operational teams. In FY25 the Northgate UK Academy in Milton Keynes was recognised as a finalist for the IMI Contribution to the Work award, highlighting its increasing impact on the industry.
Together, the two technical training centres have undertaken and coordinated 14,000 days of training in FY2025. This has helped our technicians develop their skills and knowledge, ensuring we continue providing our customers the best possible service.
UK technical training facilities are now being utilised to support our customer network, with training carried out for utility and contracting organisations.
In addition, we will continue to advance our organisational-wide technical capabilities, undertaking structural aluminium vehicle repair training and educating our technical teams on hydrogen fuel technologies.
